At Superior Industries, we are seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler who is passionate about providing excellent customer service to our internal teams. This role is crucial to ensuring a well-organized yard and efficient material handling operations. As a Material Handler, you'll play a key part in maintaining a clean and safe workspace while supporting various production activities. Key Responsibilities
- Material & Yard Management: Deliver a "WOW" experience to your internal customers by accurately and efficiently loading, unloading, and pulling parts/materials. You will also load pallets onto the pallet trailer and maintain strict inventory control.
- Quality Assurance & Inspection: Check in new materials, perform thickness testing of plate steel, and accurately track heat numbers.
- Facility Upkeep: Keep the yard, materials area, and the exterior of the building clean and highly organized.
- Safety First: Operate all equipment in a 100% safe manner, strictly following appropriate regulations, policies, and procedures.
- General Support: Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
Compensation
- The starting pay range for this position is $19 - $24 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
Day Shift
- 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
