FieldBridge is looking for a Morgan City, LA based Material handler to work for a global leader in engineered products and services for the energy industry. Weekly pay + Benefits.
Pay/schedule: $17-20/hr d.o.e. M-F, 8 AM to 5 PM. With great opportunity for OT. At $20/hr and 48 hrs/week, for example, make weekly paychecks of $1,040 gross.
The Material Handlers support our busy warehouse operations supporting offshore and subsea projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load, unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Pick, pack, and prepare accurate orders for shipment
- Maintain inventory records, verify shipments against manifests/invoices, and resolve discrepancies
- Keep the warehouse organized and follow strict safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members for smooth, efficient operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/bend for long periods, and work in varying weather conditions (hot, cold, humid)
- Forklift experience a plus; 2+ years in fast-paced warehouse preferred (oil & gas experience ideal)
- Rotational on-call for nights, weekends, and holidays (no work on company holidays unless called in)
- Full-time, on-site role
