Material Handler

FieldBridge is looking for a Material Handler in Morgan City, LA to work for a leading global engineering and technology company specializing in offshore energy, robotics, automation, and industrial services. We offer weekly pay + benefits.

$18-$20.00/hour (based on experience) | M-F 8am-5pm, on-site | Weekly pay every Friday | Great opportunity for OT pay | At $20/hr and 50 hrs/week, for example, earn weekly paychecks of $1,100 gross.

Position Overview:
You will receive, store, pick, pack, and ship materials while keeping accurate inventory and shipping records. This role works closely with the warehouse team and other departments and has a strong office/coordination component.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, move, and store materials safely and efficiently
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, and select the appropriate shipping method
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests, invoices, and orders
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records, and report discrepancies
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent related experience)
• Ability to work the on-call rotation (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Warehouse experience; 2+ years in a fast-paced warehouse preferred
• Forklift and material handling equipment experience
• Basic computer skills for inventory and management systems
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and written and verbal communication
• Oil and gas experience preferred
