Material Handler

Aquinas Consulting is currently look to fill a Shipping & Receiving Associate Job in Middletown, NY for one of our key clients in the Chemical Manufacturing Industry. In this CONTRACT role, you will receive and transport raw materials, take inventory and manage shipping labels, and load outbound shipments.

Shipping & Receiving Associate Job Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming raw materials – unload trucks, enter shipment information into the database, move materials into the warehouse and add it to inventory.
• Move materials from the warehouse to the production floor
• Safely move barrels and drums using hand trucks and pallet jacks
• Manually move materials as needed
• Find inventory in the computer database
• Print shipping labels from orders
• Gather outbound shipments from the warehouse and load them onto delivery trucks
• Perform inventory checks
• Clean and maintain the warehouse as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma.
• 2-5+ years of experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unaided on a regular basis and handle up to 100lb loads using material handling equipment.
• Must have experience with computers, including inventory or shipping software.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test in accordance with FDA requirements.
