    Description

    MATERIAL HANDLER position available at a 40,000sf non-climate controlled manufacturing warehouse with approx. 30 employees producing urethane parts from raw materials. The Material Handler will perform daily preparation of raw materials for production while utilizing proper safety, storage, labeling, and handling techniques.

    JOB DUTIES:

    Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in the appropriate work stations and stocking locations.

    Prepares materials, tooling, and supplies as listed on production orders

    Ensures timely preparation and delivery of material and tools to work stations to avoid production delays

    Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units

    Ensure that all work stations and storage areas are clean, stocked, and properly organized

    Follow proper storage and handling policies and FIFO (first in – first out) for all material

    Restock and dispose of empty drums and pails appropriately per policy

    Perform weekly inventory for materials and supplies

    Operate forklift to transport material and/or parts to and from work stations and storage locations

    Other Duties as assigned and/or needed

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Excellent Attendance

    Warehouse/Manufacturing experience preferred

    Basic math skills

    Ability to follow production schedule

    Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs

    Walk, Stand, Stoop, Bend for 8-10 hours/day

    Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Follow proper safety guidelines & procedures

    Reliable transportation

    High School diploma or equivalent

    Pre-employment drug and background screening

    HOURS:

    Monday – Thursday: 5:00am to 4:30pm

    Friday: As needed – Must be available to work Friday
