Job Tasks - Requesting MRO supplies, long-lead stockroom inventory, outside services and capital expenditures as required
- Review and place orders for raw material and stockroom inventory utilizing MRP and Min Exception reports for quantity and delivery requirements
- Expedites orders and requests as needed
- Estimates values according to knowledge of market price
- Determines method of procurement, such as direct purchase or bid
- Prepares purchase orders or bid requests
- Maintains procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories
- May approve invoices for payment
- May expedite delivery of goods to users
- Perform Purchasing and Inventory Control related functions
- Work order kitting
- Material transactions
- Physical inventory
- Shipping and receiving as required
- Maintain the inventory integrity, organization and cleanliness of stockroom
Job Requirements - Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with various departments within the organization
- Must be proficient in MS Excel and accounting software. MAS500 experience a plus
- Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50lbs
- Uses forklift to move materials
- Overhead Gantry and loader experience preferred
- Must be capable of handling stock with care
- Frequently required to balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crouch and occasionally climbs ladder
