Are you a highly motivated, dependable individual looking to join our team asMaterialHandler? This positionis responsible forkeeping materials organized and supplied to theappropriate lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to maneuver materials and ensure all lines stay supplied with theappropriate materials.
- Assume ownership of the cleanliness and organization of the material area.
- Drive facility organization and cleanliness by assuring things are stored in the correct places and following FIFO standards.
- Maintain and fill out a daily forklift checklist before every shift.
- Assistwith any other operations as directed for production needs, including duties off the lift.
Qualifications:
- Must have forklift certification and be willing to obtain specific certification requirements as needed per companypolicies.
- Must know andcomply withall safety standards and processes.
- Mustfollow all forklift safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Maintains a work paceappropriate tothe workload to meet production goals.
- Able to walk, stand, and maneuver on uneven surfaces as needed
- Must be able tolift upto 50 lbs.
- Able to work cooperatively in a team
- Must be able to understand and follow instructions with minimum supervision.
