Material Handler

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:30 PM; overtime may be available with manager approval.

What You'll Do:

• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Fill orders and issue materials and supplies as requested.
• Operate material handling equipment, including sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks, and dollies.
• Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Employment Note: "This is a temporary/contract position with no benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or paid time off during the contract period".

What We're Looking For:

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Forklift certification required; sit-down forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, carry, and slide packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to read labels, tickets, and product documentation and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills, attention to detail, and good time management.
• Comfortable standing and moving throughout the warehouse and working in varying temperatures.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Dress Code and PPE:

• Pants or shorts with belt loops
• T-shirt or polo
• Steel-toe boots required
