**Material Handler**
**Location:** Kennesaw, GA 30144
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our warehouse operations team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment while gaining valuable warehouse experience.
**About the Role**
As a Material Handler, you will play a key part in our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient movement, organization, and tracking of inventory. You will operate material handling equipment, maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems, and support the smooth flow of goods through our facility. This position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic industrial setting with an immediate start date.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials safely and efficiently
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (SAP) to track and manage inventory
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming and outgoing shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas for optimal space utilization
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures
- Support general warehouse operations as needed
**Required Qualifications**
- Valid Stand-Up Forklift certification
- Valid Sit-Down Forklift certification
- Proficiency with RF scanning equipment
- Experience with inventory control and warehouse management systems (SAP preferred)
- Proficiency with MS Word
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
**Working Conditions**
This is a temporary industrial position based at our Kennesaw facility. The role involves warehouse and material handling operations. Specific shift details will be discussed during the interview process.
**Compensation**
$18.00 per hour
