Job Description:- We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to support warehouse operations, inventory management, material transactions, and production activities in a component manufacturing environment.
- This role will primarily focus on daily inventory cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting material movement across departments.
Responsibilities:- Perform daily inventory cycle counts by generating count lists from SAP and physically verifying inventory quantities.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies by reviewing SAP transaction histories, historical inventory records, and Excel spreadsheets.
- Coordinate verification of inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis to determine the reasons for inventory variances.
- Prepare supporting documentation and justifications for proposed inventory adjustments.
- Process incoming materials and complete material receipt transactions accurately in SAP or a similar ERP system.
Experience:- Minimum of 5 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, inventory control, or a similar materials-related function.
- Experience handling components and materials in a manufacturing environment, such as semiconductor, electronics, or medical device manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience working with inventory management systems, preferably SAP; experience with Oracle or a comparable ERP system may be considered.
- Experience performing inventory cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to review spreadsheets and historical inventory data.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and root cause investigation skills.
