Material Handler II

Follows all company safety procedures and protocol including but not limited to PPE, Forklift safe operation, ergonomics/safe lifting, crane & hoist operations and dock safety. Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Foxboro, MA
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Shift: Monday – Friday 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Responsibilities
Responsible to in-coming and out-going order processing and documentation, including generating delivery/shipping documents. Liaise with internal and external transport companies/departments for timely in-coming/out-going shipments. Ensure prompt and accurate declaration of permits and prompt delivery and clearance of shipments. Investigate and action all non-conformance and recommend corrective actions.

• Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
• Follows all company safety procedures and protocol including but not limited to PPE, Forklift safe operation, ergonomics/safe lifting, crane & hoist operations and dock safety.
• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
• Performs cycle counts and assists with physical inventory count
• Maintains inventory accuracy and investigates inventory discrepancies
• Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
• Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

Must Have

• 3 - 5 years of related experience
• SAP experience a plus
• Forklift operator experience preferred
