    Job Summary

    The Material Handler II is responsible for ensuring efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, and timely material availability to support uninterrupted production operations. This role coordinates stockroom activities, manages inventory transactions, prepares production materials, and supports warehouse operations while maintaining safety and operational standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Pull materials for production jobs and job kits.
    • Organize and coordinate material requisition activities.
    • Issue job kits and production materials while tracking inventory discrepancies.
    • Stock and store materials with accurate inventory location management.
    • Manage Kanban replenishment to support continuous production flow.
    • Execute inventory transactions within the ERP system.
    • Verify material availability and proactively resolve shortages.
    • Provide backup support for stockroom and warehouse operations.
    • Maintain inventory accuracy and support production schedules.
    • Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
    • Perform additional warehouse and inventory-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
    • 2+ years of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
    • Basic math and computer skills.
    • Ability to obtain forklift certification.
    • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and inventory practices.
    • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to support production material flow and warehouse operations.
