Material Handler II - 2nd Shift

Requirements:

• Have good attendance record
• Attention to detail
• Previous experience is preferred

Job Requirements:

• Safely move materials to production areas on time to avoid downtime.
• Safely operates forklift trucks and report accidents and unsafe areas immediately .
• Follow procedures and practices for daily forklift checks and reports any safety failures promptly.
• Check containers are labeled properly with correct part numbers and quantities.
• Maintain and consolidate racks and inventory to maximize space.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in assigned areas and report any inaccuracies to inventory promptly.
• Making sure to pull oldest products and partial containers first to rotate inventory.
• Maintain a housekeeping and appearance to the 5S standards for assigned areas and common areas of production floor.
• Find ways to maximize space constraints on production floor and storage areas.
• Find ways to deliver materials to production floor work areas with less effort.
• Become proficient at the electronic transactions of inventory movement.
