DPP is seeking a
Material Handler I for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.
Work location: Onsite in Melbourne, FL
Duration: 3 months
Shift: 7:00AM-4:30PM
Terms: W2 Contract
Work authorization: US Citizen
Responsibilities: - Support material movement activities throughout the facility.
- Pick, kit, and stage materials for production operations.
- Deliver materials to internal customers and manufacturing areas.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
- Perform inventory transactions and material tracking activities.
- Load, unload, and transport materials using approved equipment.
- Maintain material accuracy and organization within warehouse locations.
- Support a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Required Qualifications: - Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Comfortable working on your feet and handling materials throughout the day.
- Willingness to learn new processes and systems.
Preferred Qualifications: - Previous warehouse, logistics, military, manufacturing, retail, or material handling experience is helpful but not required.
- Experience with forklift operations.
- Understanding of health and safety standards.
- SAP ERP experience.
