    Description

    Position Summary

    Responsible for the movement of components from inventory to production lines.

    Schedule
    2nd shift Monday-Friday 3:00pm – 12:00am. Overtime may be required for this position

    Responsibilities and Essential Duties

    • Responsible for the delivery of components to each line on the day of production.
    • Ensure all quantities within a kit are reviewed and verified.
    • Demonstrate the ability to safely operate material handling equipment (pallet jack, electrical pallet jack, or if certified forklift).
    • Transfer components from wood pallets to plastic when needed.
    • Ensure all lines are full of components and replenish when needed.
    • Ensure all work areas are clean and safe.
    • Help on production line when needed.

    Technical Skills Required

    • Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift.
    • Basic math skills.
    • Ability to read small fonts.
    • Knowledge of the flow during manufacturing.
    • Spanish/English (bilingual) is a plus.

    Experience Required

    • Warehouse experience is preferred.

    Physical Requirements

    • Regularly sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to sit, balance, climb, stand, bend, squat, squeeze, kneel, turn, crouch, stoop repeatedly.
    • Physically able to lift 75 pounds and manipulate up to a 500-pound drum on a regular basis.
    • Frequent exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, heavy machinery, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, electrical, chemicals, and vibrations.
    • Frequent use of computer screen.
    • Must be able to discern differences in colors and shades.
    • Must be able to read labels that could contain small fonts.
    • Exposure to repetitive motions (making substantial movements/motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers).
