Material Handler

This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and supporting safe and efficient warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. The Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, packaging, shipping, and distributing materials within the warehouse environment.

The Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, packaging, shipping, and distributing materials within the warehouse environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and supporting safe and efficient warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment.

This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor or Branch Manager and collaborates closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and operations personnel.

 

Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management

• Pull the correct quantity and product from designated inventory locations based on picking or transfer tickets
• Receive, store, organize, and distribute materials within the warehouse
• Stock and store products in designated inventory locations following established procedures
• Record and maintain accurate inventory location information and product quantities
• Perform inventory control audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
