Shift: 7am-3:45pm (Mon-Fri)
The Material Handler rotates between numerous daily needs, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory, pallet jack operation, and operating forklifts. This role requires a generalist warehouse background, capable of contributing to a well-rounded team, whether the needs of production are floor or equipment related.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming goods and verify their condition
- Store Materials in designated locations
- Manage inventory accuracy, organization, and perform cycle counts
- Picking Orders, daily, to prepare items for shipment
- Shrink Wrapping, Labeling, Packaging and Staging Outbound orders
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles
- Operate Pallet Jacks to assist with Loading, Unloading, and Order Picking
- Operate Sit-Down Forklifts and Stand-Up Reach Trucks, when required
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in material handling
- 2 + years of experience with Manual Pallet Jacks
- Proven experience and comfortability in Picking/Packing
- Proven experience in Shipping/Receiving
- Ability to squad, bend, kneel, stand, and be active on the floor throughout the shift
- Experience with Sit-Down Forklifts or Reach Trucks is a PLUS, but not required
