Material Handler

Poly-America, L.P., a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is seeking a Material Handler at its Grand Prairie, Texas location. Must successfully complete Poly-America’s Industrial Mobile Equipment training and testing program for forklifts.

Overview:

 

Poly-America, L.P., a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is seeking a Material Handler at its Grand Prairie, Texas location. This role works to secure and transfer finished goods and/or scrap

 

Responsibilities:

 

include the following with the possibility of additional duties being assigned as needed:

 

• Banding and securing the finished skids
• Transporting finished skids to conveyor system
• Assist in putting lines back in production
• Picking up scrap after lines are put back in production
• When necessary, acting as a packager
• General housekeeping

 

Qualifications:

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 

• Two years of job related experience
• Must successfully complete Poly-America’s Industrial Mobile Equipment training and testing program for forklifts
• The ability to be a good student of Poly-America processes, equipment, and procedures.

Successfully passing a drug screen is required for this position
