Material Handler

Essential Personnel is seeking a dedicated Material Handler for a leading contract manufacturing company in Grand Island, NE! In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving, staging, and supplying materials to support shipping, receiving, and production flow in a safe, dynamic environment.

Requirements for Material Handler:

• Previous material handling or manufacturing experience preferred

• Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus

• Ability to read work orders, labels, and production documentation

• Positive attitude, steady pace, and commitment to workplace safety

Responsibilities for Material Handler:

• Move raw materials and finished parts to and from fabrication work areas

• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and storage areas

• Stage materials for upcoming jobs to ensure efficient workflow

• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes)

• Verify materials and quantities against work orders and maintain inventory accuracy
