Material Handler

One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a dependable Material Handler to support material movement and production operations at their Grafton, WI facility.

**Pay Rate: **$16/hr - $18/hr

**Shift: **2nd/3rd shift

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to safely transport materials throughout the facility

• Load and unload trucks, trailers, production areas, racks, and designated storage locations

• Move raw materials, work-in-process materials, and finished products between warehouse and production areas

• Properly stage materials according to production schedules and work orders

• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure materials are stored in the appropriate locations

• Inspect pallets, loads, and material-handling equipment before use

• Secure and transport materials safely to prevent product damage or workplace hazards

• Assist production teams by ensuring required materials are available when needed

• Perform basic material and inventory documentation using company systems or paperwork

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a manufacturing environment

• Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting

• Ability to safely maneuver a forklift in tight production and storage areas

• Familiarity with loading, unloading, staging, and transporting industrial materialsCurrent forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
