Position Description
We are seeking a Material Handler I to support warehouse and material movement operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, storing, and transporting materials throughout the facility while supporting shipping and receiving activities. The selected candidate will use hand tools and computer systems to track inventory, verify shipments, and maintain accurate records. Additional duties include operating material handling equipment, assisting machine operators, and safely handling heavy materials as needed.
Required Skills
Prior warehouse/material handling experience
Shipping and receiving experience
Strong organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with good communication skills
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry
Ability to safely lift and move materials throughout the workday
Required Experience
Previous warehouse or material handling experience
Experience loading and unloading trucks and pallets
Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, electric dollies, or similar material handling equipment (preferred)
Experience with inventory tracking and shipping/receiving processes
Education Required
High School Diploma or GED
