Material Handler - Forklift Operator (Day Shift)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (No Weekends)

What You'll Do

• Safely drive forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, walking riders, EZGo carts, and hand trucks across the warehouse floor.
• Work independently to transfer incoming and outgoing inventory within or near the facility staging zones.
• Pull, fill, pack, and issue materials and customer orders accurately based on requisition requests and pick tickets.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with facility safety standards.

What We're Looking For

• Must be 18+ years old, possess sound basic math abilities, and have strong written/verbal communication skills to read labels, order tickets, and documentation.
• Proven experience operating material handling equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks).
• Ability to frequently lift, push, carry, and slide packages weighing up to 75 lbs., with the stamina to stand and move throughout the warehouse in varying temperatures.
• High attention to detail, excellent time management, and a strong commitment to safe workplace practices.
• Must supply your own steel-toe safety boots.

Workplace: This is a 100% onsite role located in a fast-paced electrical supply distribution center. Work involves continuous machinery operation, physical order picking, and active movement across concrete warehouse floors.

Contract Terms: This is a temporary/contract engagement focused on immediate operational support; standard corporate health benefits and paid time off are not provided during the initial contract duration.
