Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Job Summary:
Responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials throughout the facility. This position requires forklift operation, accurate material handling, and a valid driver’s license.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely to transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers using a forklift.
- Move and stage materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Verify quantities, labels, and materials against work orders or shipping documents.
- Maintain accurate inventory and material locations.
- Supply production lines with materials as needed.
- Perform receiving, shipping, and material staging duties.
- Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines.
- Perform additional warehouse and material handling duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid, current driver’s license required.
- Previous forklift experience required; forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to safely operate a sit-down or other applicable powered industrial truck.
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials as required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
