Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Material Handlers for a leading manufacturing company located in Falcon Heights, MN. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!
What You'll Do as a Material Handler:- Receive incoming parts and materials and put them away as necessary
- Pack and/or palletize parts for shipment
- Perform inventory transactions as necessary for receiving, shipping, or moving goods
- Move parts using a pallet jack and fork truck
What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler Role:- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in a shipping/receiving manufacturing environment
- Fork truck certified or able to become certified
- Good computer skills and ability to learn and use business software effectively
- Good attendance and punctuality; willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
