We are seeking detail-oriented and safety-focused Material Handlers in Wilton, CT. 12 hour Night Shift. Overtime after 8 hours!. This role is critical to maintaining efficient production flow, accurate inventory control, and on-time customer shipments. The ideal candidate has hands-on SAP experience, forklift experience, and experience cleaning, preparing, and packaging materials for shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders
- Accurately enter and track inventory transactions in SAP
- Stage raw materials and finished goods for production and shipment
- Clean, prepare, and package materials according to company and customer specifications
- Label, palletize, and secure shipments to ensure safe transport
- Maintain organized inventory locations and perform cycle counts
- Support production teams by ensuring timely delivery of materials to workstations
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with shipping documentation and carrier coordination as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of material handling experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience using SAP for inventory management and transaction processing
- Valid forklift certification and proven forklift operating experience
- Experience cleaning, packaging, and preparing materials for shipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse scanning systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Hours are 6pm - 6am
- N1 (front half): Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - every other Saturday
- N2 (back half): Wednesday, Thursday Friday - every other Saturday
Pay $28+/hr(OVERTIME AFTER 8 HOURS)
