Material Handler

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Material Handler in Clearfield, UT for a 4-month onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.

The Material Handler will support material movement, inventory, shipping, and receiving activities at Hill Air Force Base. This labor-intensive role includes loading and unloading materials, maintaining bench stock locations, replenishing inventory, and using tablets and scanners to accurately document material transactions.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree with 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship required for access to Hill Air Force Base.
• Experience with material handling, inventory, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• 2–4 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• 2–4 years of strong written and verbal communication experience.
• Ability to use Windows-based tablets and handheld scanners.
• Ability to count, weigh, sort, and accurately record materials.
• Ability to load and unload materials by hand.
• Ability to use carts, hand trucks, and other material-handling devices.
• Ability to follow specific work instructions and established inventory procedures.
• Ability to remain on feet for most of the workday.
• Ability to perform labor-intensive material-handling activities.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.

What You’ll Do

• Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Support shipping and receiving activities as assigned.
• Open containers using appropriate hand tools.
• Count and weigh materials and record inventory information.
• Load and unload materials from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines.
• Sort and place materials into designated bench stock locations.
• Perform inventory transactions using a Windows tablet.
• Order materials for bin replenishment using a handheld tablet and scanner.
• Move materials using carts, hand trucks, and related equipment.
• Stack, organize, and assemble materials as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material-movement records.
• Support additional warehouse and material-control activities as assigned.

Work Schedule / Shift

• Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.
• 1st shift.
• Onsite at Hill Air Force Base.

Pay

• $19.00 per hour
