Material Handler

Location Bowling Green KYCannon Automotive Solutionsa division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Material Handler in our Bowling Green Stamping facility. The Material Handler is responsible for moving materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have prior Material Handling experience be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package and career advancement opportunities.Summary of ResponsibilitiesPerform manual and clerical duties related to shipping receiving inspecting storing issuing and delivering a variety of materials equipment and suppliesCounts weight or measures incomingoutgoing items comparing information against bills of lading invoices orders or other identifying recordsEnsure product meets standards is not damaged or there are no shortages and communicates with the shipper to rectify any deficienciesOperates equipment including but not limited to forklifts pallet jacks hand trucks or dollies require to move or reorganize storageResponsible to ensure cargo is secured properly and safely with weight evenly distributed for transportDrive company vehicle when necessaryFills orders and issues materials and supplies per requests documents transactions appropriately prepares requisitions and computes costs keeps records of storeroom inventoryMinimum QualificationsValid drivers licence and clean drivers abstractAbility to work in a fast-paced environment performing repetitive tasksAbility to find information document relevant information and knowledge of computersAbility to retain information and communicate effectivelyAbility to lift up to 23kg 50lbsPreferred QualificationsValid forklift and overhead crane certificates are an asset1-3 years experience in a production environmentEmails regarding next steps will come from Bamboo HR - Please Ensure to check your junk mail when applying for jobsCleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
