Materials Handler
Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving materials and products throughout the warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting shipping and receiving activities. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our warehouse remains organized, safe, and operating at high standards.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Receive, stock, count, pick, transfer, and deliver inventory using ERP systems and warehouse processes
Follow established procedures and documentation to accurately pack and ship products to customers and distributors
Maintain clearly identified inventory locations and ensure inventory accuracy between physical stock and system records
Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization in accordance with safety procedures, 5S principles, and OSHA standards
Support a safe, efficient, and well-organized work environment across all logistics and warehouse areas
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or handling materials within a manufacturing environment
Comfortable using computers, Windows-based systems, and Microsoft Office applications
Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems preferred
Ability to lift and move materials weighing at least 30 lbs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of inventory control practices
Forklift experience and/or forklift certification preferred
