Material Handler / Print Production Associate
Location: 808 13th Street, Augusta, GA
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17hr
Position Summary
Our client is looking for aMaterial Handler to support print production, packaging, shipping, and quality control operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a clean, team-oriented environment where employees are cross-trained on various production processes and contribute to delivering high-quality printed materials throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and production instructions.
Package, label, and prepare printed materials for shipment.
Utilize FedEx shipping software to generate shipping labels and process outgoing shipments.
Inspect finished products to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
Organize, move, and stage materials throughout the facility
Maintain inventory and ensure products are stored in designated areas
Support print-finishing functions including folding, binding, laminating, packaging, and assembly.
Meet daily production schedules while maintaining quality standards.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and customer expectations.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, shipping, or production environments preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
Stand for extended periods throughout the workday
Frequently lift and move 20-40 pounds.
