About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Material Handlers for a hydraulic solutions company in Alexandria, MN. In this role, you’ll support warehouse operations by moving products efficiently and maintaining accurate inventory systems in a clean, organized environment. If you enjoy hands-on work and a fast-paced setting with consistent hours and weekly pay, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do as a Material Handler:
  • Ship and receive products according to carrier expectations
  • Safely operate a forklift to move materials
  • Pick and prepare orders for shipment
  • Stock inventory and optimize shelving space
  • Maintain accurate records in the ERP system
  • Communicate with external providers as needed
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized
What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler Role:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of previous work experience (warehouse/logistics preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of written and verbal work instructions
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 25 lbs regularly with or without accommodation
  • Reliable transportation to the Alexandria area
