Material Handler - 3rd Shift (11p-7a)

Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, fills fuel tank or replaces liquefied gas tank. · Weighs material/products, records weight on tags, labels and/or production schedules.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

·        Operates Powered Industrial Truck safely and efficiently and in accordance with MIOSHA and company standards.

·        Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.

·        Loads and unloads racks and/or containers onto trucks.

·        Inventories materials on work floor.

·        Weighs material/products, records weight on tags, labels and/or production schedules.

·        Loads/unloads materials onto and/or off pallets, skids or lifting device.

·        Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, fills fuel tank or replaces liquefied gas tank.

·        Ensures correct tagging is on all containers prior to moving.

·        Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment.

·        Completes safety and operational checks daily.

·        Help in departmental operation wherever necessary.

·        Keeps work areas clean and orderly.

·        Participates in continuous improvement activities.

·        Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor.
