Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM–11:00 PM

Pay Rate: $16.50/hour
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to support production operations by keeping machine hoppers supplied with material. This position will also assist with molding and assembly lines, color changes, and other cell support functions as needed.
- Keep machine hoppers supplied with material throughout the shift.
- Check machines at the beginning of each shift to ensure hoppers do not run empty.
- Review press quantities and monitor floor activities to anticipate color or material changes.
- Weigh all material/WIP returned to the material staging area and complete transfer tickets.
- Keep all Gaylords properly closed to prevent contamination.
- Clean dryers, grinders, and blenders after the job is completed.
- Record resin, colorant, and slip lot numbers on the appropriate lot control sheets.
- Record scrapped parts and purging on the shift report.
- Set up scales as needed on machines and make/close boxes.
- Move audited products to finishing staging in the warehouse.
- Move assembly products to the designated north wall area.
- Move quarantined products to the designated hold area.
- Complete transfer tickets when moving material to and from the warehouse.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) as needed.
- Maintain good housekeeping and follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
