We bring you Tomorrows opportunity today.Volt is immediately hiring Material Handlers in Sandusky MI 48471 Four-day work week Consistent 1st shift schedule Overtime opportunities availableAs a Material Handleryou will Load unload move stage and transport materials parts and supplies throughout theplant yard or worksite. Read work orders shipping documents and verbal instructions to support material handling inventory and distribution activities. Receive incoming shipments verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips inspect for damage and process materials for storage or distribution. Stock locate retrieve and maintain inventory to support production and shipping requirements. Assemble package label and prepare customer and production orders for shipment. Safely operate material handling equipment including Forklifts Hi-Lo Order Pickers Wave Equipment Pallet Jacks Other warehouse equipment as assigned Maintain a clean organized and safety-focused work environment while following company policies and proceduresThis is a full-time opportunity.Schedule1st Shift 600 AM - 430 PM Monday through ThursdayOvertime may be required on Fridays and Saturdays.The ideal candidate will have High school diploma or equivalent required Previous material handling experience Ability to operate forklifts Hi-Lo and WaveOrder Picker equipment. Valid State Drivers License required. Strong organization and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
