Material Handler / Warehouse Associate

Key Responsibilities
- Safely unload inbound shipments and accurately receive materials into inventory.
- Transport materials throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Store and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations while following established safety procedures.
- Perform material replenishment activities to support production and customer orders.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Record inventory transactions and material movements within SAP or warehouse management systems.
- Utilize handheld scanners and RF devices to track materials and inventory.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or safety concerns.
- Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and equipment operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment.
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read work instructions, inventory labels, and shipping documents.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials as required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
Preferred:
- Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience.
- Forklift, pallet jack, or other PIT equipment experience.
- Crane operation experience or willingness to be trained.
- Experience with SAP or other warehouse management systems.
- Experience using handheld scanners or RF devices.
