What You'll Do as a Material Handler:- Maintain accurate inventory by placing materials in assigned locations and completing required system transactions
- Move inventory from receiving locations to assigned stock, production, or manufacturing areas
- Replenish Normal Bins to support production, shipping, and customer order fulfillment
- Move finished goods from production or packaging areas to assigned stock, overflow, or shipping staging areas
- Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments to maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with Shipping, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to resolve inventory or process issues
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other required material-handling equipment
What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler Role:- At least 1 year of experience working with inventory and material handling in a mid-sized manufacturing environment
- At least 1 year of forklift operating experience and ability to complete company-required forklift certification
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and standard inventory management practices
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds, with mechanical or two-person assistance used for heavier items when appropriate
- Ability to frequently stand and walk throughout the shift and regularly bend, reach, twist, climb, and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and warehouse environment around machinery, moving equipment, varying temperatures, and moderate-to-high noise levels
- Strong communication, basic computer, problem-solving, and organizational skills
