Job Overview Performs duties involved in material movement. Works as part of a team. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: - Unload trucks using forklift/Pallet jack
- Complete systems transactions using scanner and ERP system
- Label material and stock in appropriate locations
- Pick work orders for production
- Process put away for receiving
- Able to perform stock movements in the warehouse (Picking, put away, transfers)
- Assist in yearly physical inventory
- Delivers material in various locations of the plant
- Deliver KanBan material to production lines
- Breakdown cardboard and place in dumpster
- Keep outside material neat and free of debris and snow.
- Safely and properly operate forklift, HiLo and/or other lift equipment
- Dump and track steel scrap from fabrication lines
- Observe all company rules and policies, i.e. safety, attendance
- Participate and work in a team atmosphere
- Maintain high productivity and quality workmanship
- Suggest design and procedure improvements that improve quality, productivity, and reduce cost
- May be asked to serve on various committees
- Responsible for keeping work area(s) clean and free of clutter during work time and at the end of shift 5S time
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
