Job Title: Warehouse and Material Flow Analyst
Shift/Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday through Friday
6 Month Assignment with potential extension to 1 year.
This role is responsible for handling tasks related to logistics activities and inventory control with respect to part receipt, storage, picking, presentation, and delivery strategies.
Key responsibilities:
• Conduct research into assigned areas documenting material flow and detailed part data.
• Works closely with partner teams in engineering, procurement, and operations to maintain accurate PFEP data.
• Assist in the development and execution of process improvements projects within supporting manufacturing areas.
• Participate in the investigation of material shortage issues developing process improvements and corrective actions.
• Monitors work to ensure quality, uses data to communicate, displays commitment to excellence, complete projects on time and budget.
• Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
• High school diploma/GED with 6 months’ experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing
• Ability and willingness to spend time on the floor to obtain the data thru hands on investigation and conversation with operators
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to get results through investigation/follow-through, and employee motivation
• High proficiency in Excel • Strong analytical skills Preferred Qualifications:
• Adept at IT systems and Microsoft Office products – Excel, Power Point, and Word
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• An understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain processes
