About the Role:

Manage Material Finance team in daily operation activities including:

• Monthly CE and EAC development.
• Material challenge performance reporting.
• Monthly tracking of material EAC changes.
• Weekly sales performance tracking and variance reporting.
• Monthly target price performance reporting.

Prepare material operating plan submission for firm and high potential programs.

Review and approval of monthly material CE forecasts and material EACs for data integrity purposes.

Analysis of monthly material sales identifying risks, opportunities, variances and impact on management reserve.

Interface with Program Finance managers providing sales and EAC data as required.

Support sales target initiatives by compiling data and presenting to Supply Chain.

Review make/buy decisions to validate the impact on material estimates.

Support KPMG and PWC audit requests.

Training and mentoring of current and new team members.

Important Consideration:   

Based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications, this role may be offered at the L76 (Area Manager) or L77 Leader II (Manager) career level.

Position Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business is required.  Accounting or Finance majors preferred.
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in material forecasting, cost analysis, or related supply chain functions.
• Proven ability to collaborate with other functions (e.g. supply chain, program mgmt.), to support budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision making.
• Solid understanding of internal controls, compliance and audit requirements related to materials and inventory, preferred.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Oracle and Material Cost Performance Reporting tool a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• 100% onsite.
