Duration:         12 Months
Shift:                1st Shift | 8–10 hours/day
Schedule:        Often up to 50 hours/week; overtime/weekends may be required

Job Overview

Responsible for material availability, inventory control, production scheduling, and material flow across multiple factory departments. The role works closely with Operations and Supply Management teams and primarily uses SAP/MRP systems.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

·         Coordinate material flow across multiple factory departments, including shipping and receiving. 

·         Ensure production teams have the required parts and materials on time. 

·         Monitor inventory accuracy and material availability. 

·         Coordinate execution of production plans across the factory. 

·         Coordinate procuring, expediting, producing, and delivering materials. 

·         Manage movement of rejected materials back to the source. 

·         Identify and resolve root causes of material shortages. 

·         Create and distribute daily production schedules using the Master Schedule. 

·         Process inbound and outbound material transactions. 

·         Audit material replenishment cycles and inventory accuracy. 

·         Create material replenishment plans as needed. 

·         Resolve inventory discrepancies and expedite parts to prevent production interruptions. 

·         Monitor critical shortage reports to ensure part availability. 

·         Implement engineering releases and change-management requirements. 

·         Provide work direction to material handlers, stock chasers, or truckers when required. 

·         Recommend improvements to inventory management and material processes. 

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

·         Experience in Supply Management, Operations, Manufacturing, or Materials Planning. 

·         Understanding of manufacturing demands and supply/logistics flow. 

·         Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills. 

·         Ability to identify problems and drive process improvements. 

·         Self-starter with a Can-Do attitude. 

·         Strong communication and customer-service mindset. 

·         Ability to work effectively with Operations and Supply Management teams. 

·         Microsoft Office proficiency. 

·         SAP/MRP experience preferred. 

·         Previous or current military experience preferred.
