Position Details:

Material Buyer Procurement / Planning Coordinator- Colorado Springs, CO

Location                     : Colorado Springs, CO 80907

ProjectDuration  :2+Yearsofcontract
Pay rate                      : $35 to $40 an hour on W2


Job responsibilities:

·         Manage the entire lifecycle of purchase orders, from creation and delivery to invoicing and closure.

·         Keep internal partners informed on delivery status, pricing, and potential issues that might impact deliverables.

·         Negotiate pricing with suppliers to maximize cost savings, minimize unnecessary expenditures, and ensure new product introductions are financially viable.

·         Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term collaboration and mutual success.

·         Execute Keysight’s global supply chain strategy while integrating unique insights to meet the specific needs of internal customers.

·         Translate assembly drawings, bills of materials, and build plans into actionable and executable purchase plans.

·         Review and negotiate Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) with suppliers as necessary.


Skills: 
Qualifications:

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Demonstrated proactive communication and a customer-centric mindset.

·         Proven experience in commodity management, procurement, or supply chain management.

·         Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, optimize cost savings, and ensure the timely procurement of high-quality materials.

·         Excellent organizational skills.

·         Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

·         Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.


Preferred Qualifications

·         Oracle R12 Procurement / ERP Experience.

·         Experience writing and managing contracts.

·         Possess sufficient technical expertise to interpret and understand specifications on technical drawings.


Education:      
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, finance, or technology a plus.
