    As the Mat Inventory Specialist for Matting Solutions, you will be responsible for collecting, updating, and reconciling all inputs in our accounting system. From providing updates to live inventory numbers, creating revenue recognition in the billing cycle, helping with system integration, development, and monitoring creation and disposal of fixed assets, this role truly affects our entire business. Reporting to the Supervisor of Mat Inventory.

    What you'll do:
    • Maintain up-to-date inventory data for the entire organization including data entry of inventory shipping information into the inventory system.
    • Research, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies on a daily basis with follow-up investigation to determine the root cause of discrepancies with operations, field personnel, and internal and external customers.
    • Constantly looking for ways to improve processes, become more efficient and productive by improving inventory control and accuracy.
    • Perform other special projects as directed by department manager and/or upper management.
    • Provide leadership team with inventory reporting using Excel for operational and sales utilization including progress monitored weekly.
    • Assist with new system integration, implementation, and training.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Requirements:
    • High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Intermediate computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Experience in a fast-paced, professional, customer service driven team environment
    • Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills
    • Ability to read and interpret, work procedures, technical instructions and technical references is a plus
    • Problem solver with the ability to make decisions and resolve conflicts
    • Must be detail-oriented & organized
