Busy full-service upholstery workroom is growing and adding a new key employee as the Lead Upholsterer. This is a supervisory role and will also be hands on in production.
Candidate should have master level skills in all areas of upholstery production: new build and recover.
Must have a sharp attention to detail and quality, and understand other important business priorities like schedules, deadlines, profitability and cost savings.
Job Requirements:
Must have at least 8+ years of experience and understanding in all aspects of high-end residential and commercial upholstery construction: cut, sew, spec frames, leather, etc.
Must be able to lift heavy objects, and stand on their feet for a large portion of the day.
