US Engine Value is currently seeking a Master Scheduler. The Master Scheduler is responsible for coordinating production scheduling and materials planning to meet customer demand while maximizing operational efficiency and achieving inventory targets. This role ensures alignment across manufacturing, supply chain, and customer requirements in a dynamic production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and manage production control systems, including forecasts, inventory levels, and bills of materials (BOMs).
  • Analyze and adjust to volatile customer demand, ensuring accurate forecasting and rapid response to changes.
  • Develop and manage daily production and changeover schedules to meet customer requirements and optimize plant performance.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels (raw materials, WIP, finished goods) to support aggressive DOH (Days on Hand) targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on production plans.
  • Utilize ERP systems to manage and optimize the flow of materials across raw, WIP, and finished goods stages.
  • Support SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) processes, including capacity planning and requirements tracking.
  • Promote and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Serve as a key liaison between internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and execution.
  • Coordinate and plan production-related projects, including 5S initiatives and scheduled equipment downtime.
  • Lead, coach, and train supervisors and team members in production control, scheduling, and inventory management best practices.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) and Materials Management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

Key Performance Metrics/Scope:
  • Manage the flow of approximately $10 million in raw materials annually.
  • Oversee scheduling for 17 production lines supporting $98 million in annual sales.
  • Maintain target inventory levels of approximately $1.5 million (DOH).
  • Direct impact on plant productivity, schedule attainment, and customer service levels.
