    About the role

    Job Summary
    Acts as primary factory contact for Sales and Customer Service on all matters related to new Spare part & Accessory orders. Responsible for determining and communicating lead-times for new orders with the goal of ensuring they will be on time. Overall Spare part & Accessory Backlog management will be another vital task in ensuring orders continuously go out on time with competitive lead times while minimizing overdues.

    Essential Functions

    • Responsible for following Sulzer's program.
    • Provides accurate lead times for new Spare Part & Accessory orders.
    • Create and maintain a Master Backlog Schedule for the Easley Factory with the intent of ensuring orders go out on time and overdues are minimized.
    • Maintains a 6-week rolling plan with a clear display of how each order is tracking within that timeframe.
    • Able to collaborate in a cross functional setting to obtain information in a timely and organized manner.
    • Organized and able to display daily/weekly clear updates to the Planning Manager.
    • Proactively communicates with Sales in matters related to upcoming orders.
    • Acts as backup to coworkers in the Planning Department.

    Secondary Responsibilities  

    • The Planning Department also includes Pump scheduling so future cross-training will be required

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    • None

    Qualifications

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.
    • Proficiency in SAP ERP preferred.
    • Clear and articulate written and verbal communication skills required.
    • Able to analyze, organize and execute plans for large amounts of data.
    • Proficient with BI software.
    • Must possess excellent time management, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills
