Position Information
Summary
Plans, layout, installs, and repairs plumbing fixtures for the State Capitol and Capitol Hill Buildings by performing the following duties.

The employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, and kneel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move between 25-100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The employee may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals (including asbestos).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures manuals and effectively communicate with others.
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Minimum Qualifications
Eight years' experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Licenses
Master Plumber's license required.
