    Your Job

Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking a Master Data Management (MDM) Architect to join our global Information Technology (IT) capability in Wichita, KS.

In this role, you will partner with KES IT and business teams to design, implement, and scale enterprise MDM capabilities across key KES data domains. You will work closely with Data Architects, Data Leads, Data Analysts, and Data Owners to establish appropriate guardrails and frameworks as we mature our single source of truth (SSOT) data governance across business domains.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, contribution-motivated, and passionate about building scalable data foundations, reusable patterns, and enterprise standards.

This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

    Our Team

The IT capability is a vital component of the KES strategy to improve business performance through the application of technology and to profitably transform our business. Our team operates with a startup mentality-working as an integrated group with the Engineering, Operations, Commercial, and Finance teams to design, build, and scale innovative solutions that transform KES work processes.

    What You Will Do

    • Design, build, and establish policies, standards, and procedures governing master data across business functions in defined data domains.
    • Work collaboratively with enterprise MDM teams to facilitate data harmonization efforts across divisions
    • Define and monitor key data quality KPIs and performance metrics.
    • Define business logic, implement survivorship criteria, and develop match & merge rules to define clean, accurate golden records.
    • Develop integration patterns from MDM platform into upstream and downstream systems
    • Work closely with the enterprise data platform team (Snowflake) and analytics team
    • Lead root cause analysis and remediation of recurring data issues.
    • Implement preventative controls to improve data accuracy and consistency.
    • Develop reporting and dashboards measuring data quality performance
    • Mature the KES data foundation by identifying gaps in data coverage, quality, lineage, and structure, then prioritizing improvements through an iterative, product-minded approach.

    Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

    • Experience communicating data architecture and technology concepts in both execution detail and broad terms to a variety of technical and business audiences.
    • Demonstrated capability partnering with customers to understand business and operating models, then translating them into coherent MDM requirements.
    • Demonstrated experience with MDM platforms at enterprise scale.

    What Will Put You Ahead

    • 5+ years' experience in Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and practices.
    • Experience in SAP MDM, Informatica, Reltio, or Stibo market platforms
    • Ability to design and implement scalable MDM processes, with attention to ownership, stewardship, and control
    • Support AI-ready data architecture by designing well-governed, well-documented data layers that enable model training, feature engineering, semantic understanding, and AI-assisted insights.
    • Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to navigate complex requirements across business and technical teams.
    • Experience with event driven architecture
    • Technical experience with serverless cloud technology tools and services (AWS: S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, etc.)
    • Exposure to data quality and observability practices
    • Experience working in global engineering or manufacturing environments
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
