Defines ownership of Master & Reference Data groups, develops, and documents MDM governance processes and defines ways to educate data management organization and data owners on them. It should be selected to recognize differences which are not enough to be represented by a separate Assignment level, such as increased proficiency in skills/competencies to perform responsibilities, greater impact to the business unit, customer, segment, geography, etc.

Summary:
This is typically a Assignment with significantly more authority and responsibility at this Assignment level. It should be selected to recognize differences which are not enough to be represented by a separate Assignment level, such as increased proficiency in skills/competencies to perform responsibilities, greater impact to the business unit, customer, segment, geography, etc. May also provide guidance or leadership to other Associates.

• Data, Analytics and Insights function connects multiple sources of information to drive decision making through the use of data. Associates with this expertise support the business by using data to solve cross functional problems.

Assignment Family:
Master Data Management

• Identify and deploy data standards and collection and maintenance rules.
• Set up roles and responsibilities to ensure compliance to data standards and rules and to monitor and improve data quality.
• Drive change to align strategic needs into harmonization. Introduce "data as an asset" concept and engage functions to adopt it.

Master Data Governance

• Defines Master Data strategy, data model, Master Data standards, taxonomies, and policies across different data domains in line with business needs.
• Defines ownership of Master & Reference Data groups, develops, and documents MDM governance processes and defines ways to educate data management organization and data owners on them.
• Drives implementation of tools, systems interventions to deploy master data solutions to the segment & markets.
• Defines, reviews, and approves new (or changes to existing) data standards, business rules and master data maintenance processes.
• Prioritizes the base business efforts around data standards, process development and implementation.
• Ensures appropriate communication to, and input from, business and IT counterparts.

Industry Experience (software / websites) Must have and good to have.

• Must have : project management software experience, finance master data gov/maint, SAP experience
• Good to have: MDG, CFIN, OneStream

Education, Licenses, Cert Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree. PMP or equivalent

Preferred Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business or IT
