Job Overview
The Master Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate and reliable material master data within SAP to support planning, purchasing, production, and inventory management. This role ensures system data aligns with actual operational capability, enabling stable planning signals and effective material flow. The position requires strong attention to detail, cross-functional coordination, and a proactive approach to identifying and correcting data gaps that drive shortages, excess inventory, or inaccurate schedules. This is an onsite postion in Leeds, AL.

A Day In The Life
Master Data Management & Accuracy
Maintain and validate material master data including:
Lead times
Lot sizes
Min/max levels
MRP parameters
Procurement and planning settings
Ensure SAP system data reflects real-world supplier and production capabilities.
Identify and correct inaccurate or outdated master data inputs.
Audit data regularly to maintain alignment with operational performance.
Planning & System Alignment
Data Analysis & Issue Resolution
Analyze material and system data to identify root causes of:
Past due orders
Material shortages
Incorrect supply signals
Investigate discrepancies between system data and shop floor execution.
Partners with teams to implement corrections and prevent recurrence.
Provide data-based recommendations to improve inventory and planning performance.
Cross-Functional Coordination
