We’re looking for someone who understands how vehicle systems work, follows a thorough diagnostic process, and can confidently identify the root cause of complex problems. If you enjoy troubleshooting electrical issues, drivability concerns, and challenging check-engine lights—and completing the repairs that solve them—this could be an excellent fit.
You’ll still be hands-on, repairing vehicles and flagging hours. The emphasis is on accurate diagnosis, quality workmanship, and consistent productivity, with the time and attention needed to get the repair right.
What You’ll Be Doing
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
Use scan tools, wiring diagrams, service information, and diagnostic testing equipment to pinpoint failures
Perform a wide range of repairs, including engine, cooling system, suspension, steering, and brake work
Troubleshoot electrical circuits, sensors, modules, and vehicle communication systems
Document findings and clearly explain recommended repairs to the service team
Verify repairs through testing and road tests to ensure the customer’s concern is resolved
Work with a supportive team to maintain quality, efficient workflow, and a positive shop environment
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
A-Level technical ability with a strong diagnostic background
Confidence diagnosing electrical issues, drivability problems, and complex engine performance concerns
Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, scan data, and test results
A methodical approach to finding the root cause and recommending the correct repair
Strong repair skills, dependable work habits, and pride in doing the job right
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Why This Shop?
Your diagnostic ability is valuable here. This team needs a technician who can work through challenging problems, make sound repair decisions, and help deliver dependable results for customers.
With strong leadership, steady work, a healthy team culture, and a Monday–Friday schedule, this opportunity offers excellent income and a place to build a long-term career.
