Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose complex automotive concerns and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Perform advanced automotive repairs from initial diagnosis through completion.
  • Service and repair multiple automotive systems across a variety of makes and models, excluding European vehicles.
  • Use diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge to identify vehicle problems accurately.
  • Independently manage assigned repairs with minimal technical oversight.
  • Support and mentor less-experienced technicians with diagnostics and repair procedures.
  • Communicate with customers when needed regarding vehicle concerns and repair work.
  • Contribute to an efficient, team-oriented repair environment.

Qualifications

  • Current ASE Master Certification is required; expired certifications do not meet the requirement.
  • 7+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
  • 5+ years of automotive diagnostic experience.
  • Advanced A-Level / Master Technician diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
  • Ability to independently manage repairs from diagnosis through completion.
  • Ability and willingness to mentor and provide technical guidance to other technicians.
  • NAPA TRACS experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $40–$48/hour hybrid compensation structure.
  • Approximately $100,000 in annual earning potential based on productivity; actual earnings may vary and are not guaranteed.
  • Production pay for time spent working on vehicles, with separate compensation for non-production time.
  • Compensation is negotiable within the approved structure for the right ASE Master Technician.
  • Pay issued every other Friday.
  • PTO beginning on the first day.
